UK-based marine electronics specialist Actisense has achieved ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditation for its commitment to quality and environmental management.
To achieve ISO 9001, Actisense had to prove that they adhere to a number of quality management principles, including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, as well as a process approach and an emphasis on continual improvement.
For ISO 14001, Actisense implemented an overall framework for an effective environmental management system across the entire company.
“We are thrilled to finally achieve the ISO accreditations,” says head of sales and operations Danny Thrasher, who was responsible for the delivery of the ISO projects. “This has been an immense team effort across the entirety of the business. From our engineers to sales and marketing, everyone has had a part to play. I would personally like to thank and congratulate all our staff for their commitment in gaining ISO 9001 and 14001.”
Achieving ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 marks Actisense’s most recent success in a year full of accomplishments. These include an expansion to larger premises, the launch of a new product range and several award wins.
