Three major partnerships with boatbuilders announced

Norwegian electric engine manufacturer Evoy is attending the Cannes Yachting Festival for the first time this week with the launch of the new Storm 300+ hp electric outboard. The company has also announced partnerships with three key boatbuilders – Axopar, Iguana and Goldfish Boats.
Finnish boat brand Axopar is launching an electric version of a 25ft boat fitted with a 300hp Evoy electric outboard. The first prototype of the Axopar 25 is being showcased on the water in Cannes by the Electric Marina.
Another major partnership is with French boatbuilder Iguana Yachts. Together with Evoy they are launching their first fully electric amphibious and foiling boat fitted with a 300hp Evoy electric outboard. The boat will be equipped with retractable foils, which is expected to reduce energy consumption by 50%. It will be on the water next spring.
Evoy is also launching a partnership with Goldfish, after breaking the world record for serial produced electric boats reaching a speed of 57.7kt on a Goldfish X9. Together Goldfish and Evoy will launch a series of electric X10 (single installation) and 43 Ocean (twin installation) of the inboard 400hp-plus, also to be delivered next spring.
Evoy designs and develops electric outboard and inboard motor systems from 120hp-400hp continuous and has so far delivered to the market the Outboard Breeze (120hp and 90kW continuous power and 185hp peak); and the Inboard Hurricane (400hp with 300kW continuous power and 800 hp peak) to customers in 10 countries.
