NOAA official tours Miami Boat Show, receives speed restriction rule briefing from NMMA

The proposed North Atlantic right whale rule is currently under review by the US Department of Commerce

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) is hosting the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries division Assistant Administrator Janet Coit at the Miami International Boat Show (MIBS) to meet face-to-face with those most directly impacted by a proposed vessel speed restriction along the US Eastern seaboard to protect endangered right whales.
