Mulder shipyard in the Netherlands has announced that the hull and superstructure for project BN100, Mulder 34m motoryacht, have been successfully joined. The operation was completed at the Zoeterwoude-Rijndijk facility. Project BN100 is the largest yacht Mulder Shipyard has built to date, and the first yacht over 300 GT.
The construction progress of BN100 is on schedule, and her owner is expecting delivery in the summer of 2015.
The hull and superstructure of the Mulder 34m motoryacht have both been built in the Netherlands. After the engines and generators were placed in the hull, the hull and superstructure were joined together and BN 100 was placed in the 58 metre long dry dock. Construction continues with the piping and technical installations. The interiors are already prefabricated at the in-house interior department of Mulder Shipyard.
British design agency Claydon Reeves is responsible for both interior and exterior design of this custom built, steel displacement yacht. Naval architecture is the work of the Dutch Van Oossanen Naval Architects.
She has a GT from 315 tons and will be built under RINA LY3, MCA classification and Unlimited Range.
The Mulder 34m motoryacht has a contemporary style with classic details. The plumb bow runs aft with a gently stepped shear. The aluminium superstructure blends subtle lines with flush glass, rising gently towards the stern. She will accommodate eight guests in two VIP staterooms and a further two double cabins that can convert to twins – all with en-suite facilities. She will aso provide accommodation for up to seven crew members.
