Four marinas recognised in D-Marin’s annual Net Promoter Scores (NPS) awards

European marina operator D-Marin has commended four of its marinas across Greece, Turkey, and Croatia for their Net Promoter Scores (NPS), a measure to gauge customer loyalty and satisfaction, at its annual NPS awards.

Mandalina Marina in Sibenik, Croatia; Lefkas Marina in Lefkas, Greece; Turgutreis Marina near Bodrum, Turkey; and Zea Marina in Piraeus, Greece have all been recognised as leading examples of premier customer satisfaction across the D-Marin Group.

‘Best NPS Greece’ was awarded to Lefkas Marina, the D-Marin flagship Turguteris Marina won ‘Best NPS Turkiye’, whilst Mandalina Marina was awarded ‘Best NPS Croatia’ and ‘Best Transient NPS’, recognising the marina’s service towards short-stay customers. Athens-based Zea Marina was the overall winner of the ‘Best NPS Score’.

The four premium marinas are part of a selection of 20 spanning seven countries. D-Marin has invested €10m into digital and innovation to create a unique customer experience at all its marinas with the sole aim of creating an enriching yachting experience for its clientele. The winning of the IF award for the innovative customer experience underlines the high ambition to pioneer the sector.

Dean Smith, CCO, says: “Customer satisfaction is at the core of everything we do at D-Marin – it’s everyone’s responsibility to ensure we provide an enriching yachting experience. We are obsessive about customer satisfaction and closely monitor how our marinas are continuously striving for more through the Net Promoter Score. I am thrilled by the enthusiasm demonstrated by our team and their relentless pursuit of excellent customer service.”

The Net Promoter Score is seen as the ‘gold standard’ of customer experience and is used by millions of businesses globally to track how they’re perceived by customers. The results are calculated by how likely a customer will recommend a service to a friend or colleague. D-Marin monitors its performance each week with every employee entitled to benefit from good performance.
